Thank you all for being so patient as we work towards the release of this game! We took a short break from updates, so that we could get to this stage of development, beta testing, editing, programming and more!
The script is done! It's now in the process of being edited, and prepared for our testing phases, both internally and externally. A lot of you have been waiting a long time for this game, some even for 5+ years back when Blogger was still a thing. We're so close to the end, and admittedly it's been so satisfying to see everything come together.
Testing
Before the end of the year, all backers will participate in our alpha, playing and giving feedback on the first part of the game.
Early 2019, we'll have a second testing phase, beta, where it will be the 'mostly' complete game save for the endings. From there we'll be working with our publishing partner MangaGamer to do a final QA pass before release.
The goal of testing is not just to find bugs, to hear feedback, namely what you think works, and what doesn't.
In the coming months and into early 2019, we'll have a lot more to share as Lupiesoft heads to Sakuracon, and Anime Expo where we plan to talk more about the game's release! Be ready for a very elfy Christmas season!
Art
In Closing
There's so much to show you all, but if we did that, it'd take the fun out of you playing the game and seeing it for yourself!
Suffice to say we're really looking forward to showing you all the love and care that has gone into this game, it has been our most ambitious project, in terms of art, music, writing, programming, voice acting, and more. We're so eager for you to see the result of your pledge, and what we've been able to do. Please join us later this year in testing an early look at Dizzy Hearts, as well as more testing phases to come.
Thank you all!
